Elaine Abbot and the Lib Dem team would like to thank everyone who voted in the local elections this year. The result was;-

County Councillor Mark Jewell said, “The result in Larches was disappointing, but our thoughts have been with Elaine, whose husband, Colin, passed away on 3rd May. Colin had encouraged Elaine to stand despite his poor health and said nothing would make him happier than to see Elaine elected to the Council again. Unfortunately, that will have to be for another day.”

Elaine added, “I would also like to thank everyone who has passed on their condolences for Colin.”

A service will be held for Colin on Tuesday 15th May at the Preston Crematorium, Longridge Road, PR2 5BP from 11.15am
