Have your say – Dementia Consultation

by markjewell on 8 January, 2013

A public consultation discussing dementia services in Lancashire is taking place to 25 February 2013.

There are around 17,600 people aged 65 years and over in Lancashire with dementia and these numbers are expected to rise to more than 25,600 by 2025. This predicted increase is linked to the ageing population. Given these circumstances, dementia is very much a local and national priority.

You can complete the survey on line at:

During the consultation period there will be a series of open public meetings taking place in every borough across the county of Lancashire which will include morning, afternoon and evening sessions.

The one in Preston will be on Monday 21st January from 6pm-8pm at the Gujarat Centre, Preston PR1 8JN
